Safer Communities Fund Early Intervention grants open

Share This Post

The Safer Communities Fund has helped many organisations in our area to invest in security infrastructure to improve community safety. Under the 2021-22 Budget, the program is being expanded to support both:

– early intervention and;

– security infrastructure measures.

Early intervention grants will be made to support youth engagement activities which are

aimed at preventing crime. Examples of suitable projects include programs to help youth grow vocational or sporting skills, or services which assist at-risk youth to enter the workforce. Grants of between $200,000 and $1.5 million are available. Applications for early intervention grants opened at the end of May and close on 22 July 2021. You can apply here: https://www.business.gov.au/…/safer-communities-fund….

Please share this information with any group that you think may benefit from the grants.

Safer Communities Infrastructure Grants are also now open and I will provide more information on these in the coming days.
